About the Role
As a Research Data Specialist at the University of Melbourne, you’ll play a crucial role in advancing data-intensive research within the Melbourne Data Analytics Platform (MDAP). Joining a dynamic team of around twenty specialists, your responsibilities will span advising on, applying, and sometimes developing cutting-edge software and systems. From collection to analysis, storage, and presentation, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting research data across the University.
You’ll actively contribute to fostering a community of like-minded specialists across the University
Collaborating closely with the Platform Manager and MDAP colleagues, you’ll dive into diverse, collaborative research projects spanning days to months. This role offers you a unique chance to cultivate lasting relationships within the University research community, build a track record in interdisciplinary collaboration, and elevate the visibility of MDAP both within the U and across the broader research domain.
