The Role
You will be responsible for the financial management, planning, forecast outturn and control of Enterprise activities/projects, Research post award activity, other non-teaching income and the University’s trading subsidiary, Kingston University Enterprises Limited (KUEL).
You will ensure the development and effective application of contract terms, the University’s policies, procedures and relevant accounting practices.
The Person
The successful candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA) with experience of project or management accounting and contract management, preferably gained within a research and enterprise finance team in higher education.
You will be an experienced line manager able to develop and appraise staff effectively; highly skilled in excel, software literate with accounting system knowledge and experience (Agresso experience will be a distinct advantage).

The Finance department aims to deliver the strategic objectives of the University with a clear focus on customer service.

This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of £48,251 per annum.
