The Women Researchers Council (WRC) at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics is dedicated to promoting gender equality and fostering an inclusive environment for women in research. We are seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join our team as Research Fellows. Position Type: Voluntary, Part-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality research in the field of social sciences and humanities, with an emphasis on promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment.
• Collaborate with fellow researchers and contribute to the development of innovative research projects.
• Write and publish scholarly articles in reputable journals, showcasing your expertise in your chosen field.
• Participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences to share research findings and insights.
• Contribute to the growth and impact of the Women Researchers Council by actively engaging in its activities.

Requirements:

• Hold a Ph.D. degree in social sciences, humanities, or related fields OR be in the final year of Ph.D. studies.
• Possess a strong research background with a focus on gender-related issues and women’s empowerment.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and conducting research projects, preferably with a track record of publications.
• Proficiency in academic writing and the ability to produce high-quality research articles.
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with fellow researchers and contributing to a supportive research community.
• Ability to commit to a part-time, voluntary position.
• Affiliated with an academic institution or research center.

Benefits and Remuneration:

• Q1 Quartile Articles: Research Fellows who publish articles in journals indexed in the Q1 quartile of Scopus or Web of Science will be eligible for a remuneration of 2000 EUR per article.
• Q2 Quartile Articles: For articles published in journals indexed in the Q2 quartile, Research Fellows will receive a remuneration of 1500 EUR per article.
• Q3 Quartile Articles: Articles indexed in Q3 quartile journals will earn Research Fellows a remuneration of 750 EUR per article.

Affiliation with WRC for Additional Benefits: To maximize the benefits of this remuneration opportunity, all Research Fellows are encouraged to use the Women Researchers Council, Azerbaijan State University of Economics as their second affiliation when submitting articles to Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals. This affiliation not only strengthens the presence of women researchers but also allows you to capitalize on the financial rewards provided for your scholarly achievements.

Eligibility:

• All active Research Fellows affiliated with the Women Researchers Council at Azerbaijan State University of Economics are eligible for this opportunity.
• Submitted articles must undergo a successful peer-review process and be officially published in Scopus or Web of Science-indexed journals.

How to Proceed:

• When submitting your articles to Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals, list the Women Researchers Council, Azerbaijan State University of Economics as your second affiliation.
• Once your article is accepted, published, and indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science, kindly inform the Women Researchers Council about the publication and provide the necessary documentation.
