About the Role
The School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences seeks a highly qualified researcher for a position in Hydrogeochemistry. The successful candidate will be PhD qualified and specialise in ground and formation water sampling and analysis, laboratory experiments, and mineral analysis. Engaging with a dynamic research team focused on geological CO2 storage and carbon mineralization technologies, the appointee will actively contribute to international field experiments, co-supervise students, and the option of teaching.

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a self-motivated researcher who can demonstrate growing expertise in hydrogeochemistry, specifically fluid – gas – rock interactions, and a strong aptitude for research including an emerging track record of publications in hydrogeochemistry, geological CO2 storage, carbon mineralization or similar in leading international journals.
Your ability to establish interdisciplinary collaborations, and excellent communication skills will make you an excellent fit.
