The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. This is under Research Collaboration Agreement ‘Fermentation Technology’ funded by BUNGE and administrated by School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB).
Key Responsibilities:
The Research Fellow will be responsible to develop solid state and submerged fermentation technology for flavoring development. In addition, you are expected to cover the following scope:
Planning and execution of experiment
Monitor research progress
Manage lab environment including tracking purchases
Communicate research activities with BUNGE
Development on shared lab SOPs and workflows
Job Requirements:
Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline such as Microbiology, Food Science And Technology.
Particular interest is in candidates with experience in food fermentation technology.
Experience in biotechnology and green processing technology would be advantageous.
Direct experience working in a food lab
Strong background in food related research
Comfortable with a role that crosses academic, industry and regulatory thinking.
