Reporting to Associate Professor Katie Ayers and Professor Andrew Sinclair, Heads of the Reproductive Development group, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our organoid projects.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research aimed at understanding the molecular basis of disorders of sex development.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Culturing and maintaining stem cell lines including patient IPS cells
  • Carrying out differentiation protocols on stem cells
  • Molecular analysis including IF, qPCR and FACs analysis
  • Recording work in lab book
  • Reading relevant publications

What we need from you:

  • Relevant PhD/Doctoral qualification
  • At least 3 years experience in the techniques above (relative to opportunity) and appropriate level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation
  • Has own funding or is competitive for own funding
  • Building a reputation at a National level as an outstanding researcher and is working towards building an international reputation
