- $81,484 – $106,174 per annum pro rata, depending on experience

About NARI
The National Ageing Research Institute (NARI) is an independent, non-profit, medical research organisation recognised internationally as a centre of excellence in gerontology and geriatrics research. The Institute provides clinical, psycho-social, health services and public health research specifically focussed on older people and also has a major emphasis on translational research.

About the role
We are seeking a part time Research Officer/Fellow based within the Clinical Gerontology Division of the Institute. The Research Officer/Fellow will be responsible for project managing a multicentre cluster randomised trial that aims to establish the feasibility of an intervention to improve indwelling urinary catheter care in residential aged care homes.

To be successful for this role
- The ideal candidates will possess a bachelor degree with honours or Masters in a relevant discipline and have relevant experience including:
- Clinical trials expertise
- Demonstrated experience in conducting and communicating the outcomes of research
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including commitment to ethical principles and research governance
- Demonstrated high level of administrative and organisational skills
- An ability to work effectively – both independently and in a team environment – managing competing demands, and demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to improving the lives of older people
Eligibility
