Research Technician I – Lippman Lab

The laboratory of Professor Zachary Lippman at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking a motivated and responsible candidate for a Research Technician position. The Research Technician will provide assistance to members of the Lippman research lab for a variety of projects. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for general laboratory organization and maintenance.
 

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline is required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
 
 Experience/Skills: Candidates should have prior training in molecular biology, including techniques such as PCR, DNA/RNA extractions, cDNA synthesis, Western blotting, sub-cloning, and plasmid construction. Candidates with appropriate laboratory skills that also have training in genetics or plant biology is a plus, but not required.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
