We are looking for an enthusiastic and enterprising researcher consumer behavior who will contribute to the research activities of the Food Consumer Behavior group. You will work at the Wageningen Food & Biobased Research (WFBR) research institute, part of Wageningen University & Research.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
Within WFBR we collaborate with other areas of expertise, including personalized nutrition, food technology, aroma and taste, alternative proteins and computer science. Moreover, WUR’s ecosystem, with the university, Wageningen Campus and our extensive knowledge and business network, offers many opportunities for collaboration for new developments and expansions of our research portfolio. This means that you have to be able to switch between many different people, projects and customers and act in different collaborations. We are therefore looking for a communicative and flexible person with team spirit!

In addition to these first-rate employee benefits, you will of course receive a good salary. We offer, depending on your experience, a competitive gross salary of between € 3.693,- and € 5.737,- for a full-time working week of 36 hours, in accordance with the CLA Wageningen Research (scale 11). Additionally, a contract for 0.8 FTE can be discussed.

Together with our customers, we develop healthy and tasty food, sustainable food chains, and ‘green’ alternatives to products that are currently produced from scarce fossil fuels. We do this based on our knowledge of the entire chain, from raw materials to processing and end product.

And our Visual cues houdbaarheid real-life pilot project focuses on preventing food waste.
