Position Summary
Assists the Interventional Radiology program director in the management and direction of the integrated and independent interventional residency training programs, ensuring program compliance with regulatory agency standards and maintaining essential documentation for programs. Coordinates educational activities for incoming and current residents and functions as a liaison between residents, fellows, departments, attending physicians, administration and outside institutions.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Reviews applications of residency or fellowship program applicants, schedules and coordinates yearly interviews for selection of new residents, establishes files of completed applications and related materials, and corresponds with individuals and those who are accepted into the program.
- Coordinates resident schedules, rotations, vacations, call and conference schedules and documents attendance and absence excuses.
- Arranges for phones, white coats, scrubs, lockers, mailboxes and certificates of program completion.
- Reviews ACGME requirements for and evaluates program(s) to assess and ensure compliance.
- Maintains all records and documentation required by the ACGME and supervises the collection of data fulfilling requirements of ACGME and other licensing and credentialing boards.
- Prepares reports and compiles annual recruitment statistics for the Dean’s office as well as various program statistics throughout the year.
- Compiles faculty and resident evaluations.
- Participates in preparation of budget as it relates to the residency programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Comprehensive and detailed understanding of national accreditation policies and hospital policies.
- High degree of initiative and independent judgment.
- High level of computer proficiency including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- High level of proficiency in running Zoom meetings, including breakout rooms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to function independently, use discretion and attend to detail.
- Proficiency in problem solving.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience totaling four years.

Salary Range
$22.92 – $35.49 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one’s qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
