About the role
We currently have a permanent part time position in Belmont available for 40.75 hours per fortnight. In the capacity of a Residential Support Worker, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting, covering tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.
At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1/ Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. Roster details are below:
Week 1
- Thursday: 7am – 9:30am & 4pm – 8pm (6.5 hours)
- Friday: 7am – 9am (2 hours)
- Monday: 7am – 9:15am & 4pm – 8pm (6.25 hours)
- Tuesday: 10pm – 12am & Active night
- Wednesday: Active Night – 12am – 7am (7 hours)
Week 2
- Friday: 3pm – 10pm (7 hours)
- Sunday: 3pm – 9pm (6 hours)
- Monday: 4pm – 8pm (4 hours)

Please note that the following compliance documents are required if successful for the role:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
- Victorian Working with Children Check (employee status)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Valid Victorian Drivers License
- Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent (highly regarded)
