About the role
We currently have a permanent part time position in East Geelong available for 53 hours per fortnight. In the capacity of a Residential Support Worker, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting, covering tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.
At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1/ Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. Roster details are below:
Week 1:
Sundays: 8.45am – 5.00pm (8.25 hours)
Mondays: 7.00am – 9.30am (2.5 hours)
Wednesdays: 7.00am – 9.30am (2.5 hours) & 3.00pm – 10.00pm (7 hours) + sleepover
Week 2:
Thursdays: 6.30am – 9.00am (2.5 hours)
Fridays: 6.30am – 9.30am & 2.45pm -6.30pm (6.75 hours)
Sundays: 8.45am-5.00pm (8.25 hours)
Mondays: 2:45pm-8:45pm (6 hours)
Tuesdays: 6.30am – 9.30am & 2.45pm- 6.30pm (6.75 hours)
Wednesdays: 7.00am – 9:30am (2.5 hours)

Please note that the following compliance documents are required if successful for the role:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
- Victorian Working with Children Check (employee status)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Valid Victorian Drivers License
- Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent (highly regarded)
