About the role:
We currently have a permanent part time position in Newcomb available for 36 hours per fortnight. In the capacity of a Residential Support Worker, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting, covering tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.
At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1/ Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. Roster details are below:
Week 1
Monday 9am – 3pm (6 hours)
Tuesday 9am – 3pm (6 hours)
Week 2
Thursday 3pm – 10pm (7 hours) & sleep over
Friday 7am – 9am (2 hours) & 9am – 3pm (6 hours)
Tuesday 3pm – 10pm (7 hours) & sleep over
Wednesday 7am – 9am (2 hours)

- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
- Victorian Working with Children Check (employee status)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Valid Victorian Driver’s License
- Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent (desirable)
