About the role:
We currently have a permanent part time position in Whittington available for 32 hours per fortnight. In the capacity of a Residential Support Worker, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting, covering tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.
At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1/ Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. Roster details are below:
Week 1
- Saturday 10am-4pm (6hours)
- Monday 3pm-7pm (4hours)
- Wednesday 3pm-7pm (4hours)
Week 2
- Thursday 3pm-10pm (7hours) + sleep over
- Friday 6:30am-9:30am (3hours)
- Monday 3pm-7pm (4hours)
- Wednesday 3pm-7pm (4hours)

- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
- Victorian Working with Children Check (employee status)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Valid Victorian Driver’s License
- Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent (desirable)
