Based in Warrington, hybrid, minimum of 2 days in the office.
£40/hr – £45/hr Umbrella – £30.33 – £34.07/hr PAYEPeople facing role, a background in HR or Contract management/supply chain management would be highly desirable. Nuclear background preferred but would consider another highly regulated industry.The Resource Mobilisation Manager will be responsible for all resource planning activities across a number of business units. They will proactively create mobilisation plans identifying sourcing opportunities against the Capability Development Model and oversee implementation for their Business Unit. They will also provide input and support to the development and implementation of company wide Capability Strategy.They will support the Business Control Managers (BCMs) to ensure that robust resource demands are in place and by working closely with the BU Directors, their teams and recruitment teams, they will ensure that all resources are deployed efficiently. They will operate collaboratively across the entirety of the client with other Resource Mobilisation Managers to understand resource demand and to move resources around to best suit both Business Unit and business objectives as a whole.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all resource planning activities across a number of business units. This role will be responsible for interrogating resource demands and developing solutions to meet the demand. * Responsible for meeting the immediate (time horizon of 0 to 12 months) tactical resourcing requirements through resource brokering, and identifying where needs cannot be met and roles need to go to recruitment.

  • Responsible for managing the resource management database for recording all near term resource allocation and utilisation and tracking live changes.
  • Responsible for overseeing the long term resource requirement for the business unit and mobilisation planning to meet demand.
  • Ensures resources are deployed in an efficient and timely manner against agreed mobilisation plans. .
  • Responsible for highlighting under-utilisation issues and ensuring resolution within the project and services areas.
  • Work in conjunction with the Head of Strategic Resourcing, Discipline Chief Engineers and Human Resources to manage business unit, functional and location specific attrition by creating and delivering staff retention strategies.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of resourcing solutions and strategies for the business unit in conjunction with the Head of Strategic Resourcing and Human Resources.
  • Collate and manage resource deployment data to provide BU Directors with clear information to make resource deployment and recruitment decisions when escalation is needed.
  • Leading Self: Is a role model, demonstrating Cavendish Nuclear principles, promoting health, safety and wellbeing, respect and inclusion.

ExperienceEssential:

  • Analytical mind-set with the ability to manipulate and interpret data
  • Have a broad business outlook and show understanding of the commercial and financial position of the Business Units and Cavendish Nuclear
  • Knowledge of the business and scope of resource challenges
  • Broad cross functional knowledge for the range of disciplines areas in our business
  • Experience of working collaboratively to balance competing demands and priorities
  • A driven individual who is able to successfully build relationships and negotiate to deliver results
  • Lateral thinker and self-starter with ability to be innovative and challenge redundant practices
  • Willing and able to act on initiative within pre-defined constraints
