UNICEF plays a critical convening and technical support role aimed at ending inequalities and AIDS in children by 2030 through epidemic control and treatment of HIV to reduce HIV related mortality in pregnant and parenting girls and women, and children and adolescents including those from key populations. In order for UNICEF to be able to provide effective support at global, regional and country level, it requires multi-year predictable funding to sustain optimal footprint and capacity at country level and support catalytic HIV interventions that foster ending inequalities and ending AIDS.
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Programme and Planning Manager, the incumbent will support resource mobilization efforts for the HIV programme, including management of existing grants and partnerships, under the overall leadership of the Associate Director HIV. The incumbent will work closely with the broader Health partnerships teams and the fundraising arms of UNICEF; Public Partnership Division (PPD) and Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP).

Government employees that are considered for employment with UNICEF are normally required to resign from their government before taking up an assignment with UNICEF.
UNICEF reserves the right to withdraw an offer of appointment, without compensation, if a visa or medical clearance is not obtained, or necessary inoculation requirements are not met, within a reasonable period for any reason.
