Under the supervision of the Chief of Communication, Advocacy and Partnerships, the incumbent will have two major areas of work:
Resource Mobilisation: supporting the Deputy Representative and Section Chiefs in their efforts to develop compelling and successful proposals for financing which will allow UNICEF to meet its RM targets and deliver quality programmes for the benefit of women and children. To achieve this, building relationships of trust and transparency with our donors is critical. The incumbent will support the creation and management of grants, their monitoring and coordination. Donor relations management including reporting: Provide quality control and crosscutting inputs to the 120+ reports which UNICEF is required to submit to our donors every year, keeping them informed of progress and showcasing to the best extent possible the results which UNICEF programmes have achieved for children. UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children’s lives, defend their rights, and help them fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence.
