We currently have multiple opportunities for permanent part time support workers to join our overnight respite cottage. This is a permanent part time position, 24/7 rotating roster working at Corella Cottage which will include some overnight shifts, as well as supporting our clients in their homes.
With a focus on providing onsite care for clients on short term stays, your responsibilities can include:
- Help at home: housekeeping, grocery shopping or meal preparation
- Personal Care: personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime or medication administration
- Transport: appointments or shopping trips
- Social and wellbeing: accompany clients on outings or assist with our Healthy Living for Seniors activities
Qualifications and experience:
- Must have Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual equivalent qualifications
- Medication competency
- Similar experience providing client centred care
- Current First Aid certificate
- Driver’s licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
