Restoration Corps – Summer Position (Sandy Hook, NJ)

The American Littoral Society is seeking passionate and motivated individuals aged 16-25 to join our Restoration Corps (R-Corps) program at Sandy Hook, NJ this summer. This green jobs training and service program provides hands-on experience in conservation, habitat restoration, and environmental education, helping to build the next generation of environmental stewards.

About the R-Corps Program:

R-Corps members work outdoors on meaningful environmental projects, gaining skills in:

• Habitat assessments and restoration
• Community education and outreach
• Resume development for careers in environmental science

Participants also play a key role in guiding community events and educational programs. Many R-Corps alumni have used this experience on their college applications, earned scholarships, and gone on to pursue careers in the environmental field.

Position Details – Sandy Hook Location

• Part-time, seasonal position (Late May or Late June – Early August)
• $18 per hour, 20 hours per week
• Deadline to Apply: April 4, 2025
• Work primarily based at Sandy Hook, NJ
