Our client is expanding its luxury offerings with a new spirit and wine store opening in Spring 2024. This fantastic concept is all about client experience and offering the highest quality products. A fantastic opportunity to be part of!

As Store Manager, you’ll lead the opening of the store. Your role involves curating an exclusive range, managing a customer-oriented team, and fostering relationships with key inidivduals within the wine and spirits industry. From overseeing day-to-day operations to driving innovative marketing initiatives, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering an exceptional customer experience.

As Store Manager your key responsibilities will include:

• Recruiting, developing, and managing a high-performing, customer-focused team
• Manage store operations, including budgeting, sales forecasting, and identifying growth opportunities
• Cultivate relationships with wine and spirit producers/agencies, sourcing unique products
• Collaborate with the Ecommerce Manager for inventory control and range management
• Drive in-store marketing events, tastings, and seasonal promotions
• Maintain industry awareness, staying attuned to trends and competitor activities
• Develop and manage digital and media marketing channels
• Ensure high standards of housekeeping on and off the shop floor
• Build a B2B channel and supplier network

As Store Manager you will have:

• A degree or equivalent education
• WSET Level 3 Wine and WSET Level 3 Spirits or equivalent, with strong whisky knowledge
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in premium retail wine and spirits
• Customer-focused, target-driven, and self-motivated
• Strong leadership and passion for fine wines, champagne, and spirits

You may be from a retail or hospitality background with a strong passion for this industry, a great network, and a passion for delivering results.
