Our Retrofit Coordinators get to work on a broad portfolio of projects, meaning you will not
just be delivering compliance but working on gold standard retrofit.

We have a range of projects across both able to pay and the affordable warmth sectors, we do
not work with individual installers or single measures meaning you will have the opportunity to
work on a range of property types with different measures looking for the best solution
property by property.
You will already be a qualified Retrofit Coordinator (L5 Retrofit
Coordination and Risk Management) preferably with experience delivering PAS 2035 compliant work
through any accreditation body. You will have a passion for delivering the best outcomes you
can for all parties through a pragmatic approach to retrofit.
You will share our passion for
using retrofit to create a more sustainable future where everyone can afford to heat their
homes. You will have experience communicating the complex ideas and concepts to homeowners and
occupiers through written reports as well as verbally. You will be working as part of a team of
Retrofit Coordinators, Assessors and Home Energy Experts within an organisation with over 25
years’ experience.

This role will include
- Work as designated Retrofit Coordinator on own portfolio of retrofit
projects ensuring compliance to PAS 2035 - Energy modelling in Design SAP to create Improvement
Option Evaluations and Ventilation reports - Developing and providing technical advice on PAS
2035 processes and requirements - Carrying out site visits, meeting with stakeholders: clients,
installers, Retrofit Designers - Exercising attention to detail, completing checklists, and
helping ensure all required files and data is collated in correct folders and uploaded to the
Trustmark Data Warehouse - Work effectively with project workers and other staff ensuring
quality of project work and managing deadlines at every stage - Liaising with external
assessors on reports carried out and feedback back on quality - Delivering training to
trainees, other staff, and partners with ongoing and future projects along with Retrofit and
other required learning - Deliver talks and workshops to external organisation and the public
to encourage uptake of systematic approaches to retrofit - Complete CPD necessary to maintain
RC and other accreditations - Any other duties commensurate with the role and necessary for the
delivery of the project
PERSON SPECIFICATION
We are looking for someone with
- Level 5 Retrofit
Coordination and Risk Management qualification - Experience of retrofit and awareness of energy
installation standards including PAS2035 process, PAS2030 installer standards and specifically
the requirements of part F, L and O of the building regulations in relation to retrofit - Experience working in either energy efficiency, SAP assessment, Domestic Energy Assessment,
Retrofit Assessment or Construction – Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, and
ability to engage and motivate people at all levels - Driving licence and own car to use
Desirable skills and experience include
- Good understanding of domestic energy sector,
including types of housing and key legislation - Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency for Older
and Traditional Buildings - Confident IT and cloud computing skills: Windows, Word, Excel,
e-mail, internet, database - Ability to understand and keep up to date with sustainable energy
technical issues and engage in dialogue with relevant stakeholders at all levels - Ability to
multi-task, manage own workload, and achieve targets on more than one project at a time - Ability to work with minimum supervision, able to manage own time and work on own initiative,
but must be team-worker, committed to success of whole team and to resolution of any conflicts
encountered - Confidence working with social tenants and being able to balance their individual
needs and attitudes towards the retrofit process - Experience of working with Social Housing
providers and their tenants - Domestic Energy Assessor, SAP Assessor or Retrofit Assessor
accredited - Experienced with Thermal bridging calculations
- Experienced with Overheating
calculations - Experienced with conducting and producing Thermography reports
- Experience of
undertaking Air Pressure Testing - City & Guilds Level 3 in Energy Awareness
- Experience
of working with installers on in supply chain development - Experience of working in, or in
support of, local or other statutory authorities - Experience of cross-sectorial partnership
working - Enthusiasm and commitment to environmental and social welfare objectives
- A
flexible, dynamic, and creative approach - Good knowledge of construction detailing and
drawings - Experience of project management
- Construction related Qualification
- Experience
of retrofit coordination - Professional Membership of CIOB, CIAT, CARE, AABC, RIBA RICS or
RIAS. - Ability to produce retrofit design
