This role supports the Health Services business unit (Bupa UK) and will form part of the Cromwell Hospital Billing & Credit Control team which sits within the Bupa UK Commercial & Finance team. The role reports to the Billing & Credit Control Manager
You’ll help us make health happen through:
- Undertaking revenue audits for every department monthly.
- Ensuring the audit tracker is up to date at all times with findings, £ amounts and actions.
- Following up on actions to resolution. Monitor that agreed recommendations made are implemented for each department covered with appropriate reporting in place with escalation process. Escalating to Billing & Credit Control Manager if resolution not achieved.
- Supporting with Bupa-led internal audits where appropriate.
- Updating compucare for Embassy-related Genesis Care revenue. Investigate issues to resolution.
- Assisting in the reconciliation of certain TDL invoices.
- Entering pathology and histology charges and amendments into Compucare.
Key Skills needed for this role:
- Good knowledge of Compucare and Report Generator desirable
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to search out relevant information and explanations.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to identify and act on opportunities for improvements in processes, controls and reporting. Attention to detail and integrity checking.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and an appetite to understand complex processes.
- Highly developed influencing and collaboration skills, with the ability to enthuse and get the buy in of internal or external individuals.
