We are working with a well-established, medium-sized building services consultancy based in Reading, renowned for delivering high-quality electrical and mechanical design solutions. The company provides a wide range of electrical design services, including power distribution (HV & LV), lighting, fire alarm and suppression systems, security systems (CCTV, access control, and intruder detection), and data/telecommunication cabling.With a strong reputation in the industry, they undertake projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, hotel, and data centres, as well as some leisure, retail, and education projects. We are seeking a Revit Technician with experience in building services design to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborating with engineers and designers to develop high-quality BIM models and technical drawings.Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain accurate Revit models for a range of building services projects.
Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings for electrical and mechanical systems.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Work within BIM Level 2 requirements and assist in the coordination of multidisciplinary designs.
Manage and organise Revit families, templates, and project files.
Work on projects across residential, commercial, hotel, and data centre sectors.Requirements
Proven experience as a Revit Technician within the building services sector.
Strong proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of BIM processes and ability to work within a collaborative design environment.
Understanding of electrical and/or mechanical building services design.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with TAS, Cymap, Amtech (desirable but not essential – training provided).Benefits
