Request for Proposal: Consultancy to Revise and Update Papua New Guinea’s NBSAP (2025–2030) in Alignment with the Global Biodiversity Framework
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the Conservation and Environment Protection Authority (CEPA) is seeking to engage a qualified consultancy firm to support the review and update of Papua New Guinea’s National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) for the period 2025–2030. This initiative aims to align PNG’s national biodiversity planning with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, enabling the country to strengthen its implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), address emerging biodiversity threats, and integrate sustainability across sectors. The consultancy will support CEPA and UNDP in undertaking inclusive, gender-responsive, and participatory processes to ensure the revised NBSAP reflects national priorities, global commitments, and the voices of all stakeholders, including Indigenous Peoples and local communities. Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system.
