Introduction :

RQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

for

DESIGN OF CAFI ANNUAL REPORT, LOGO RE-DESIGN, BRANDING GUIDELINES, BRANDED ELEMENTS

SCOPE OF TENDER

The Central African region is home to the second largest tropical rainforest in the world, absorbs about 1.5 billion tonnes of CO2 of the atmosphere or 4% of the world’s emissions every year and provides a habitat to more than 10,000 plant and animal species. Forest loss is accelerating despite ongoing efforts, as government action alone has not been enough to establish an effective balance between the interests of the forest and of economic development. On this basis, a coalition of 10 governments together with 6 Central African partner countries have all agreed to enter into a collaborative partnership known as the Central African Forest Initiative (CAFI).

CAFI’s objective is to recognise and preserve the value of the forests in the region to mitigate climate change, reduce poverty, and contribute to sustainable development.

CAFI requires the services of an experienced contractor (graphic designer) to

1)      review the current CAFI logo and create branding guidelines (including branded elements) based on the retained logo redesign.

2)      Design the CAFI 2023 Annual Report. The Report must have two versions:         A Printable version (PDF)

3)      An Online Interactive version of the Annual Report (such as an online platform or microsite, TBD based on recommendation from Contractor)
