description of the assignment: UNDP is looking for a national company for the assignment: RFQ/2025/004 – Supply and installation of irrigation system for 10 ha forage crop cultivation field in Tosontsengel soum, ZA
The project: Ensuring Sustainability and Resilience in Green Landscapes in Mongolia (ENSURE)
Scope of Work: Within the framework of the service contract, following activities shall be conducted:
Assess and calculate the irrigation capacity needed for the full coverage of the 10-hectare forage crop field, located 200 meters from the river, with dimensions of 300 x 350 meters. The system will be designed in accordance with the technical specifications provided;
Supply delivery and install the irrigation system on-site and ensure it is fully operational upon handover;
· Provide the operational and user manuals, maintenance guide of the equipment, its warranty and custom clearance (in case of importing) documents to the processing unit and local authorities;
· Undertake responsibility to repair or replace the factory defects and damage of the delivered irrigation system during the warranty period;
· Upon completion, the system will be officially handed over to the Tosontsengel soum Governor’s Office and project staff, documented through an asset transfer report.
Duration of initial contract: 2.5 months
