The project titled Hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) Phase out Management Plan Project Stage II (“HPMP Stage II”) which was approved at the 86th Executive Committee (ExCom) meeting in February 2021 for Nepal under the Montreal Protocol, with United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) as lead agency and United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as cooperating agency. As per the agreement between the ExCom and the Government of Nepal, UNDP has been assigned to support ‘Acquisition of training equipment and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) servicing tools’.
The RAC equipment/tools were finalized based on the need assessment of 3 training centers
i. Bheri Technical School, Nepalgunj;
ii. Korea Nepal Institute of Technology, Butwal and
iii. Nepal Refrigeration and Electromechanical Association (NREMA).
Scope of services:
Delivery, verification and testing of RAC equipment/tools and supplies to respective 3 training centers (KNPI, Butwal; CTEVT Bheri, Nepalgunj and NREMA, Kathmandu)
