Job description
The Robinvale Euston Workforce Network is seeking a new team member to join our team in Robinvale, as the REWN Coordinator.
About this role
The Robinvale Euston Workforce Network (REWN) is a partnership between industry, government, schools, training providers, local government and other community organisations to identify the solutions needed to overcome these challenges to ensure the region can realise its full potential and deliver prosperity for all community members. We are focused on improving employment for young people, and adults experiencing chronic unemployment or underemployment.
Despite the high number of employment opportunities in the Robinvale Euston Region, many local residents are not taking up these positions due to significant barriers. This includes issues such as lack of skills, training services, literacy upskilling opportunities, childcare, transport, mental health services, and a lack of awareness of the number and types of roles in the region.
The REWN Coordinator role is critical to success of the REWN and is focused on enabling local people to work together, and capturing the evidence of how our work is having an impact for the community. The REWN Coordinator will keep the community informed and engaged in the REWN, as well as support REWN members to make sense of data and how this informs REWN priorities.
This is varied role which will give you a chance to affect long term change in our community, be connected to colleagues across the state and to learn and grow.
For more information about this exciting role you can contact Glenn Stewart – REWN Manager on 0428347151.
Please note applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so if you are interested in this role, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
