About The Role
Deaf Connect are currently seeking a strong rostering administrator working full-time to support the 1:1 Support Services team to deliver accurate, timely and client centred support through the scheduling of disability support staff and resources to meet the needs of Deaf Connects participants.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Timely and efficient preparation of rosters and other administration tasks
- Communication with staff and participants regarding scheduling related matters
- Actively contribute to the smooth, efficient and effective provision of services to participants by working as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality.
About You

- Demonstrated experience and understanding of rostering and scheduling practices
- Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and apply Award, NES Employment Standards and Legislative requirements
- Highly developed engagement and communication skills, including negotiation and advocacy skills
- High degree of problem-solving skills including conflict resolution
- Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision
- High level of computer literacy
You should also let us know if you have these other great skills:
- Working knowledge of Sandwai or other rostering/customer management systems
- Knowledge of deaf community, culture and language
- Conversational Auslan skills
