Do you like working outside? Do you want to spend every day at a different, picturesque waterbody in Northern Idaho? Do you want to be part of the effort to protect some of the most pristine waterbodies in the continental United States from aquatic invaders?

The Idaho State Department of Agriculture is recruiting (4) roving AIS Inspectors to work throughout the North Idaho Region. Roving inspectors travel to remote water bodies to inspect and decontaminate boats, provide public outreach and information, and conduct early detection water sampling for invasive species. This is work that will often place you in remote and wild places, and opportunities for outdoor recreation will abound during your off hours! This is an ideal position for undergraduate students looking to enter the natural resources management field and for individuals wishing to get their foot in the door at a state agency. Come work for us and see the opportunities!
