We are seeking a talented Front End UI/UX Developer to join our team. As the primary developer responsible for creating the front end for our websites and applications, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products are visually appealing, user-friendly, and meet the needs of our customers. What You”ll Do Collaborate with product owners and designers to create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces Develop and maintain web-based software products and cross-platform mobile applications, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, performance, and user experience Implement responsive design principles and ensure compatibility across various devices and browsers Use best practices for user experience design and incorporate feedback from users to continuously improve the product Develop prototypes and wireframes to quickly iterate on design concepts Participate in all phases of the agile development lifecycle and ensure timely delivery of projects To be successful in this role, you will possess: Excellent communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with the flexibility to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. A strong portfolio of prior work that highlights both technical skill and design philosophy, with examples that demonstrate user-centered thinking and creativity. What You”ll Need Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience(Note: a Bachelor’s level degree equivalent to 6 years of directly related experience). 2+ years of directly related experience in front end development and/or UX/UI design. Demonstrated proficiency in HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript, with knowledge of modern frameworks and libraries. Demonstrated experience with responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation, Tailwind). Demonstrated proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and *nix-based development environments. Demonstrated understanding of accessibility guidelines and inclusive design principles Demonstrated familiarity with design systems and component-based UI development. Demonstrated familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch Experience with containerization and cloud environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) a plus. Our pay ranges represent national averages and may vary by location as a geographic differential may be applied to some locations within the United States. RTI considers multiple factors when making an offer including, for example: established salary range, internal budget, business needs, and education and years of work experience possessed by the applicant. Further, salary is merely one element to our offer. At RTI, we demonstrate our commitment to rewarding individual and team achievement through a total rewards package.
