Job Description
SCOPE OF WORK:
The Safety & Wellness Manager is responsible for administering, managing, and over-all growth of IRC Wichita’s Safety & Wellness (S&W) program. They look over the overall program quality, management and development, financial management, data management and reporting, compliance, and community outreach and representation. They will provide leadership, support, and ongoing supervision to advance objectives within the Safety, Health, and Power focus areas of the IRC Wichita’s Strategic Action Plan. The program currently focuses on mental health and psychosocial support, comprehensive case management, and systems navigation for a variety of vulnerable populations including refugees, asylum seekers, victims of crime, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those experiencing emotional distress. The work is carried out in close coordination with a multidisciplinary team of service providers within the IRC and the local community, and with technical assistance from technical advisors at IRC’s Headquarters.
