  • This is an exciting opportunity to lead the management and implementation of our Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) activity across our Packaged Gas Products (PGP) business unit – You will be part of both leadership teams with a dotted reporting line into the Executive Director of PGP
  • In this role, you will manage, inspire and develop a team of SHEQ Advisors to enable the delivery of our goals
  • You will collaborate with the organisation to develop strategic plans, standards, processes and procedures to improve the ways we work and ensure all requirements are met
  • You will be responsible for training, reporting and the management of our document and processes system as well as supporting incident investigations
  • In addition, you will ensure that everything we do follows the Linde principles and standards as well as local and regulatory requirements, in training and assessment
  • Furthermore, you will work with all key areas of the wider SHEQ team including the Quality and Regulatory Affairs team to support the PGP healthcare area
  • And lastly, this role requires you to demonstrate visible leadership across the sites, communicating effectively, building trust and demonstrating our SHEQ values

What makes you great

  • You have circa. five years’ experience in an operational, engineering or SHEQ role, with thorough understanding of operations and safety and a good understanding of processes and technology used across these areas
  • Experience working under or managing an effective SHEQ management system would be beneficial but is not essential, however we would like a willingness to learn the system we use
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to influence at all levels both internally and externally
  • You have the passion and ability to build an engaging team by motivating, influencing and developing others to deliver results
  • And lastly, you use an analytical mindset to solve problems and have a passion for driving improvements
