They also have exceptional delivery capability (manufacture and build own products).This hiring need, could also suit a Service Leaver (with a technical background – ideally Video/Audio/RF/Surveillance/Communications & any knowledge/contacts/background in Police/Law Enforcement very helpful) interested to utilise their transferrable skills and gain a ‘soft landing’ into a varied civi career in a relationship driven, customer focused (rather than target driven) sales/account management role. In this role, you will also utilise your technical abilities and project experience & training can be provided.Our client is a market leader and global supplier of specialist equipment, solutions and services for the Police, Military, Government, and Industrial sectors with over 40 years’ experience.They specialise in the design and manufacture of communications accessories for all radio makes and models. Supplying body worn, mobile and static video surveillance equipment and offer installation services to all types of technical equipment into vehicles, both covertly and overtly. This service covers all the UK at their fully equipped installation workshop, or at the Customers premises.Our client is a Nationally recognised Training Provider, awarded an Approved Centre award and an Affiliate Provider Quality Mark by “Skills for Justice (SfJ)”. Their training is also awarded Approved Course status by RoSPA for Worldwide delivery, complementing its existing BSI 9001 :2015 certificate.Key responsibilitiesDrive and manage Police & Military accounts across the business (UK & Internationally) – our client has existing contacts for you to develop/relationship build, but it would also be important for the successful candidate to have their own contacts)
Manage cross vendor relationships with prime vendors
Add value and design concepts required by the customer
Manage customer projects from beginning to end (design, build, concept, pricing, orders implementation)
Deliver presentations.
Administer and manage tender processes
Travel to customer sites as required.Experience required:
Understanding of RF technology
Understanding of tracking technology
Understanding of audio and video products
Strong communication & relationship building skills
