ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for a values-aligned and self-motivated Sales and Partnerships Coordinator to join us in a part-time, fixed-term position. This role is tailored for someone who thrives on building relationships and excels in communication via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings (primarily conducted over Zoom).

Remuneration

115k – 125k ($50k-$60k pro-rata) PLUS super

As the Sales and Partnerships Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and nurturing our network of Industry Partners. Our current network comprises over 25 companies with whom we collaborate to support their efforts toward diversity and inclusivity in their technical workforce.

Your role will involve pitching key initiatives that our partnerships provide companies access to:

  • Internship Program & Talent Portal: Operating year-round, this platform connects talented individuals with prospective employers.

  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Maturity Assessment & Recommendations Report: A valuable tool designed to assist companies in enhancing their people practices for a more equitable workplace.

  • Virtual Careers Fair: An eagerly anticipated online event held annually, facilitating connections between partners and our community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales:

  • Handle inbound and outbound partner sales enquiries and correspondence.
  • Attend and lead discovery calls with prospective partners.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings with the CEO.
  • Provide weekly reports on sales pipeline and deals progress.
  • Adhere to CLG’s sales processes, including lead generation, CRM management, and deal nurturing.
  • Review and assess new and prospective partnership applications to ensure alignment with our values and “Employer” criteria.

Partnerships:

  • Act as the primary contact for our partners, ensuring their needs are met and promptly escalating any issues or concerns to the CEO.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of agreements, including contract negotiations, drafting, and onboarding activities to facilitate a smooth transition for new partners.
  • Engage semi-regularly with key and highly-engaged partners to gather feedback, assess satisfaction levels, and gain a deeper understanding of their needs and expectation

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following skills & experience:

Essential knowledge, skills, or experience

  • Ability to, or experience in, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
  • Proven experience in sales and customer service, with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with prospects and partners at all levels.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills, enabling you to juggle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in deal negotiations, contract management, and partner interactions.
  • A high level of self-motivation, and ability to work asynchronously.

Desirable knowledge, skills or experience

  • An understanding of tech recruitment
