Job description
We are working with one of the countries specialist engineering suppliers, and are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Director to join their growing team. This is a remote position requiring regular travel within the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong customer relationships.About the Role:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the precision engineering sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve performance objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales initiatives.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
About You:
- Proven track record in sales leadership within the machining, precision engineering, defence industries.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Experience in developing and managing sales teams.
Expected salary
£60000 – 100000 per year
