Job Description:As the Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for all aspects of sales in a given territory.Are you eager to take your career to the next level? If yes, we encourage your application!IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Searching for and visiting potential new clients or the existing customer who could benefit from our products within a designated region;
  • Keep the Sales Manager advised of competitor’s activities and carry out any specific or general duties agreed upon by the Sales Manage;
  • Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities;
  • Meet or exceed the annually agreed level of orders for products for their area on an efficient and effective basis.
  • To keep abreast of technological and market changes which could affect the future sales of the product group;
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms and producing client quotations;
  • Offering after-sales support services and coordinating client accounts and sales projects;
  • Preparing reports for head office and recording and maintaining client contact data;
  • Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs;
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education and liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.

Who You Are:You build the customer relationships. You research initiatives and try new approaches. You create a plan and outline for various audiences.FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in relevant engineering field;
  • Must have previous experience of selling capital equipment;
  • Must be self-motivated as this role will include working off initiative and being able to problem solve;
  • Outgoing and be able to build strong relationships based on the company’s commitment to provide quality service and support to its customers;

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Previous experience of working with plastics, polymers and or with automation would be advantageous;
  • Microsoft Office proficiency;
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is preferred.
