Sales Engineer
£40,000 + Commission

Due to expanding the business a new position has become available for a Project Sales Engineer. You will be responsible for the growth of our patented range of scissor lifts and modular lifting products as well as maintaining, developing, and growing an existing customer base in the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Actively prospect for new customers and markets
- Carry out customer site meetings to understand their needs, ensuring all appointments are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Advising customers of the correct product selection to ensure we meet their requirements from both a specification perspective and programme point of view.
- Be responsible for obtaining detailed surveys in a timely manner for all the business product range.
- Ensure that any site documentation is accurately completed and processed in a timely manner.
- Be responsible for the preparation of quotations, proposals and tenders to accurately reflect the customer’s needs. Compiling to the agreed pricing structures and managing the tender processes.
- Ensure that the customer receives accurate feedback on any proposals and this is communicated verbally or written as requested.
- Be responsible for recording of any quotations and communications within the company’s systems.
- Establish effective relationships with customers and follow up against agreed contract deliverables to ensure the desired outcomes are being achieved.
- Ensure there is a strong connection with the projects team to ensure the sales handover from start to finish runs smoothly.
Experience required/Desired.
- Sales experience within the loading bay sector/scissor lift field
- Full clean driving licence
- Industry or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of EN1570
- Experience of working in construction
- Electrical qualifications
- HNC/HND Engineering based qualification.
- Knowledge of service level agreements and or contract management
- Able to work away from home throughout the UK (and the EU as the business expands)
