Sales Executive – Portsmouth Area ! – Up to £45,000

A family run Freight forwarding and Transport company are looking for an Air Freight Sales Executive to help grow the business

This Sales Executive role would suit a talented freight sales professional with a solid grounding in Air Freight operations.

The Package:
£45K – £60K
Commission
Annual Bonus
Car allowance
28 days holiday including bank holidays

The Role:

• To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients.
• To undertake presentations for long-term business, produce and present tenders and quotations for business.
• To offer a high standard of customer service to internal and external customers, by demonstrating a professional, helpful and positive manner.
• To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
• To build and maintain effective business relationships with overseas correspondents, exchanging information, undertaking joint business and supporting sales visits to and from them in order to develop sales.
• Work with Line Managers to promote specific markets and generate business, through a co-ordinated programme of targeted joint calls.
• Responsible for current developments in the market and information on competitors.

Requirements:
Freight Forwarding sales experience – internal or external
Business 2 Business experience
Air Freight ESSENTIAL
Sea Freight CONSIDERED
Road Freight CONSIDERED
