Immerse yourself in a journey that will take you to work in various countries and to be part of our extensive global family 🚀Salary up to £45,360.00 plus 15% with additional benefits belowSales Manager MICEMission: Responsible for new business development of Meetings Incentives Conferences and Events through a defined set of Accounts as well as the account management of existing MICE accounts for the 3 London Hotels of Melia White House, Melia London Kensington and ME London. Supports in the implementation of the MICE sales strategy for hotels under their responsibility to meet the objectives defined in the Business Plan for each hotelResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supports in the implementation of the MICE sales strategy for hotels under their responsibility to meet the objectives defined in the Business Plan for each hotel.
  • Support other sales team members in sales actions; show rounds, FAM trips, presentations, reports, race days, cold calls and other projects as part of the daily sales duties in the department.
  • Enhance the Company’s image and stay abreast of the competition, new developments, participate in various events of Chambers of Commerce, Meeting Planners and Associations etc.
  • Achieve and/or exceed the annual budget approved in the Business Plan (MICE segment) for the Cluster hotels in terms of room sales and ARR through an increase in the number of accounts/events and in the sales of event rooms, banquets, audio services and other revenues related to MICE.
  • Account Manage MICE Agencies relevant to London Market through proactive activity including Fam Trips, roadshows, lunch and learns and appointments.
  • Analyze the requests received and the percentage conversion, and define new actions to attract more business based on the results and a market analysis.
  • Update, manage and control the database to ensure that the available information in the FOCUS System is as up-to-date as possible

We seek:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Sales in 4*/5* Hotels
  • Other languages
  • Ability to travel for meeting and conferences
  • Knowledge of FOCUS system
