Sales & Marketing Director – LegalOffice based in Tunbridge Wells, but the firm have adopted a mainly remote set up£75,000 – £90,000This law firm specialise in providing legal services for technology businesses, and are looking for someone that can help drive forward their growth strategy. The firm offer a different model to a traditional law firm, as alongside hourly billing, they give their clients a choice of using a subscription model which builds really close and trusting relationships.The firm are switching their sales focus from start ups and small businesses, to focus on the much larger tech companies/managed serviced providers who have a £10+million turnover, so need someone that can lead on this as well as supporting with;

  • Strategic Planning – you will work closely with the managing partner and take the lead on the firm’s current sales focus. You will need to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve the company’s objectives.
  • Business Development – You will identify new business opportunities to build and nurture, to help increase the firms client base and revenue. This is a high-impact role that offers fantastic growth potential and the opportunity to shape the future of a growing legal firm.
  • Marketing – Using a mix of digital marketing, events, and content marketing to attract new clients and enhance brands visibility
  • Systems & Process Management – Work with external providers and the internal team to identify, develop and implement systems and processes to improve sales & marketing efficiencies.
  • Market Analysis – Conducting research and staying up to date with industry trends, competitors and new opportunities.
  • Budget Management – Responsibility for the sales & marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and achieving a positive return on investment.
  • Sales Leadership – Leading and mentoring the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Maintain Relationships – Maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a similar field.
  • 7+ years’ experience in sales & marketing, ideally gained in legal but they will also consider other professional services backgrounds. You must have a proven ability to develop and execute successful sales & marketing plans.
  • Experience within the tech industry is highly desirable
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools
  • Ability to interpret data and make positive changes
