Through hundreds of powerful brands we work with businesses and professionals in specialist markets, providing the connections, intelligence and opportunities that help customers grow, do business, make breakthroughs and take better informed decisions.Informa is listed on London Stock Exchange and a member of FTSE 100, with over 11,000 colleagues working in more than 30 countries.Job DescriptionThe Sales Operations Executive supports a business unit sales team, who are selling across different regions, multiple brands (products/events), and customers.Sales Operations is a pivotal function within the business, providing structured sales administration, Salesforce (CRM) support, data analysis, reporting, and information entry support to Sales teams.The Sales Operations Executive will report to the Sales Operations Manager. They will have knowledge and understanding of the Sales systems such as Salesforce and provide support in the set-up and management of Sales Pipelines within Salesforce and other CRM systems.Furthermore, the role will assist in the management of data quality, accuracy, and consistency for the business unit, whilst also being on hand to support specific business unit reporting or analysis requirements.Whilst they will support business unit sales teams, they will also be on hand to support Exhibitor Marketing, Event Ops, and Customer Service teams, with data list pull requests and reporting needs as well as supporting the event teams onsite at events both in the UK and internationally.QualificationsCRM management

  • Manage and update Salesforce (CRM) and associated Sales order processing tools with sales contracts.
  • Providing the forms (text) for sales, stand upsells, promo opportunities, catalogues, and contract creation.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Experts (SME) on Salesforce business process for sales teams.
  • Supports the product setup (events, sponsorship, digital, and print).

Sales and Marketing support

  • Assist with administrative activities in support of forecasting, and preparing presentations for budget and strategy meetings.
  • Key liaison point with the Digital Delivery team for customer data, reporting, analytics and general queries.
  • Support sales team in preparation for pitching and proposals where applicable.
  • Process Digital sales contracts and all Marketing Solutions contracts

Delivery support

  • Liaising with key stakeholders across the digital and wider business to ensure campaign delivery is planned and efficiently deployed.
  • Actively track, maintain and improve current delivery and planning processes across the digital business to ensure client needs are met and digital deployment runs smoothly.
  • You will be a key stakeholder in managing client queries regarding invoicing, billing, customer accounts and other business-critical miscellaneous needs.
  • Main operational point of contact for appointed key accounts across the digital business.
  • Report key digital metrics across the business in preparation for monthly priority work streams.

Skills required

  • Ability to proactively handle and respond to queries from internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Experience in working with Salesforce/ or similar CRMs.
  • Experience in data analysis and manipulation.
  • Strong knowledge and application of Excel.

Desired

  • Experience in working with Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Previous experience in the B2B / B2C events industry.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications in particular Excel.
  • Experience with Adobe Cloud and creative tools.
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager
