Our holistic model also extends assistance to shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics.Explore our short clips, ” are Yakima – WE are Family” and ” ,” for a glimpse into our dedication to our communities, health, and families.What We Offer$17.99-$22.04/hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates100% employer-paid health insurance including medical, dental, vision, Rx, 24/7 telemedicineProfit sharing & 403(b) retirement plan availableGenerous PTO, eight paid holidays, and much more!What You’ll Do:Manage scheduling phone queue, transfer calls to appropriate staffSchedule patient appointments based on guidelines and provider availabilityVerify and update patient demographic and insurance informationNotify patients of schedule changes and adjust appointmentsAssess patient needs to meet with Patient Benefits Coordinator, schedule appointments as neededHandle daily scheduling work queues and provide patient outreachOffer backup support to Front Office positions as requiredMay perform Lead duties by acting as a liaison between line staff and the direct supervisor. Responsible for maintaining the day-to-day flow of the department, including managing breaks, lunches, sick calls, and overtime. Provide insights to management regarding the skill level and performance of employees. Provide training to new employees and existing staff when needed. Perform quality audits and reports findings to management.Qualifications:High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)One year’s experience working in a call center, scheduling appointments, and clerical work in a healthcare environment is preferredBilingual (English/Spanish) required at a level 9Ability to prioritize work and handle various tasks simultaneously, with frequent interruptionsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, providers, and staff in a professional mannerBasic knowledge of medical terminology is preferredBasic knowledge of the Epic systems is preferredBasic proficiency in Word and ExcelOur mission celebrates diversity.
