Position Title: School/Community Settlement Worker (Ukrainian-speaking)
Hourly rate of pay: $27.50/hour
Duration: September 2024 -March 31, 2025
Location: Various schools and community locations/working remotely
Reports To: Program Manager
Hours: Full-time (35 hrs/week)
Position Summary
The School/Community Settlement Worker will assist Ukrainian newcomer families and youth by providing them with appropriate information and referral services and group sessions and facilitating the process of settling in their new schools and communities. This work will involve needs assessment, settlement plan, one on one services, informal counselling, partnership building, and planning monthly workshops to address client needs.
