Role Purpose

This is a very important position dedicated to ensuring smooth, efficient and effective operational coordination and execution of exam activities, enriching the customer experience, especially within schools aligned with the renowned Cambridge International curriculum. Your role is to be the go-to support, helping customers and partners navigate operational and technical challenges. Keeping our Account Relationship Manager and Operations Manager informed about issues and resolutions is a big part of the role, contributing to the growth and strength of our partnerships.

You will help in making processes run smoothly, providing essential administrative and logistical support for our institutional partners and clients in exams and curriculum programmes. While we have a special focus on Cambridge International, your role also covers activities related to the British Council Primary English Test, Aptis, and IELTS.

This position is part of the British Council Andes Cluster exams team, allowing you to work with colleagues in Colombia, Peru, Chile, Venezuela, Ecuador, Panama, and Costa Rica. This is an opportunity to shape educational excellence in a lively international environment.

Main accountabilities but not limited to the following

  • Provide customer support for all Cambridge International schools customers, including advice on administrative processes and sharing of programme and exams updates, registration deadlines and promotional materials.
  • Ensure all Cambridge published guidelines and terms of British Council agreements are adhered to.
  • Organise, plan, monitor and track the scheduling and delivery of all contractual activities with Cambridge International schools.
  • Inform Cambridge officers of all upcoming British Council planned commitments to schools and Cambridge to ensure compliance with published administrative guidelines.
  • Manage client schools agreement scheduling through database.
  • Control the financial relationship between all client schools and client associations in line with British Council and Stakeholders requirements.
  • Ensure that the billing and invoice database is up to date to ensure compliance with British Council standards.
  • Work with Exams Business Processing team to ensure all Cambridge International activity is duly invoiced and that all invoices are checked and paid on time in line with stakeholder requirements.
  • Receive exams materials from Cambridge and organise despatch to schools. Support schools in despatch of materials to Cambridge.
  • Ensure all Cambridge International materials are checked in and stored and Cambridge officers informed according to British Council standards.
  • Organisation and delivery of exam officer training and exams session inspections.
  • Plans and prioritises own work activities, which span across a range of different work streams, responding to changing and at times competing requirements to ensure effective delivery of responsibilities over a weekly/monthly time horizon.

Requirements of the role

  • Experience
    • in B2B customer service
    • of and ability to deliver excellent standards of customer service
    • with finance and administrative coordination
  • Understanding and experience of risk and compliance management
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to operate in Spanish at a minimum C1 level and English at a minimum B2 level, including speaking and writing skills
