Lead interpretive and skills based programs in South Dakota’s crown jewel, Custer State Park. CSP boasts 71000 acres, 1400 Bison, 7 campgrounds, 4 lakes and 3 scenic drives. Housing can be provided.
Develop, promote, and present programs on the natural and cultural resources of Custer State Park. Duties may include staffing visitor centers, stocking publications, developing and presenting day & evening interpretative programs, assisting with special events, presenting outdoor skill programs (archery, canoeing, climbing, fishing), and cleaning and maintaining facilities.
Requirements: Appropriate educational background. Experience in teaching and public speaking with adults and children in an outdoor setting to enhance the educational goals of Custer State Park. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver license.
