Advance your career in conservation by supporting crews in the field. Experience the beauty of Vermont’s forests and mountains, expand your professional network, and gain administrative skills. The Trail Coordinator will support the completion of several fall projects and deliver hands-on training focused on trail-building and camping skills.
Dates: August 1 – October 31
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with some weekends and overnights required
Benefits: Depending on employment status this position may be eligible for medical and dental insurance, disability and group life insurance and compensated time off and sick time (with supervisor approval).
VYCC engages young people in hands-on projects that benefit Vermont’s environment and communities. Field Supervisors are essential to the success of any Conservation Crew and their efforts have a significant impact on habitat, water quality, and outdoor recreation in Vermont.
