Description

Premises Security: Oversee and ensure the security of HAI’s Community Support Center and guesthouse premises.

· Surveillance: Monitor security cameras, especially after hours, for any suspicious activity.

· Observation: Watch vehicles and individuals passing by the office and report any suspicious behavior or security-related issues.

· Access Control: Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to prevent theft and ensure the security of the premises.

· Reporting: Write Log sheet for access on daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

· Duty Schedule: Follow the guards’ duty schedule diligently.

· Emergency Response: Report any security emergencies to the Administrator and contact police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or unauthorized persons.

· Vehicle Surveillance: Watch the vehicles parked outside the office and keep the parking area clear.

· Equipment Maintenance: Maintain guard equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.

· Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of the organization.

· Minor Maintenance: Assist in performing minor maintenance tasks and moving equipment and supplies.

· Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

– Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.

– The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.

– The ability to provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, or in person.

– Minimum of Primary School leaving certificate with 2+ years of related experience.

 

 Language Skills: 

Local language (Arabic, Kurdish and Turkman)
