With an already impressive and prestigious customer base spread across the globe, this role offers the opportunity to manage a high profile and prestigious client in UK Central Government, providing a highly regarded and mission critical solution to the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure.The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a global and growing technology company. Experience in this sector is extremely valuable.Responsibilities:

  • The Account Manager owns the commercial relationship with the client and maintains and grows relationships with all customers in the region, while achieving an assigned sales and growth goal. Reporting to the Head of the Region, the Sales Account Manager is expected to retain and grow existing accounts, while pursuing profitable new opportunities;
  • The Account Manager selling the company’s complete product and service offering;
  • Leads all aspects of the sales process, calling upon others to support in solution development, bid and proposal delivery;
  • Develops customer account plans that identify relevant customer needs, prioritizes initiatives, and company investments, and establishes a clear action plan for success;
  • Working as part of a small team, you’ll want to sell responsibly and work together with other parts of the business to drive successful business forward;
  • Maintains an up to date Sales Forecast within Salesforce, and actively engages with Product, Delivery and Operations teams.

Experience and prerequisites:

  • A minimum five (5) years of Account Management experience in a business-to-business, large/strategic customer segment and a must have experience of managing into UK Central Government;
  • Highly desirable to have experience managing clients in the technology sector, and any experience with biometrics a positive;
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level;
  • Excellent relationship builder with significant commercial experience, managing complex contracts;
  • Assertive, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating flexibility, autonomy, and initiative;
  • Fluent in English; additional languages highly desirable;
  • Desirable; Salesforce experience.
