The Freedom Together Foundation is hiring a Senior Accountant. Freedom Together Foundation, formerly The JPB Foundation, works  to support people who have been denied power to build it, so they can change unjust systems and create a more democratic, inclusive, and sustainable society. 

The Senior Accountant, reporting to the Controller, and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, will help to increase the capacity of both the operational and grantmaking functions at the organization by paying attention to detail and assisting with complex reporting requirements. 

The successful candidate has a BS in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university, is a current or former CPA, and has 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience in the accounting industry. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) in Manhattan in NYC and the salary is $120,000-$140,000 plus benefits.
